The 23-year old Elizabeth Escalona, a mother of five, has pleaded guilty of beating.
In September last year, she kicked the girl in the stomach, beat her with a milk jug and then stuck her hands to their flat wall with super glue.
The toddler suffered bleeding in her brain, a fractured rib, and some skin had been torn off her hands, according to doctors. The girl was in a coma for several days as a result.
The prosecutors said they were content with the sentence, while the defence counsel asked for a suspended sentence.
