The parties talked ceasefire which is to pave the way for a pan-Syrian dialogue with no foreign interference, Syria’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The diplomats also claim that some countries hamper Brahimi’s mission providing the rebels with weapons, shelter and training.
Brahimi has earlier called for a truce between the government and rebel forces next week for the Muslim festival of Eid al-Adha.
