Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is flying to Egypt Sunday for talks on expanding bilateral ties and to discuss the situation in the region.
During his two-day visit, Lavrov will meet with President Mohammed Morsi and his Egyptian colleague Mohammed Amr to discuss closer economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
In Cairo the Russian FM is also scheduled to meet Arab League Secretary General Nabil Arabi.
