A reserve containing 15,000 litres of acetone blew up at a plant belonging to Neptune Technologies and located in the town of Sherbrooke, 150 kilometers east of Montreal.
It’s not clear what caused the explosion. Experts are looking into the possible ecological repercussions of the accident.
