The albums contain over 100 dedications, such as poems, drawings, signatures and even declarations of love. Many famous artists, writers and composers admired the wife of well-known Moscow art collector Vladimir Girshman.
After the revolution of 1917 the Girshmans left Russia for Paris where they opened an art salon. Henrietta kept her albums in emigration as well. The last entry was made 5 years before her death.
