The message was delivered to Moscow by the Palestinian President’s special envoy Saleh Raafat later in the day.
In Thursday’s exclusive interview with the Voice of Russia, Raafat confirmed the Palestinian authorities’ appreciation of Moscow’s “active efforts” within the UN Security Council, which finally adopted a resolution urging Israel to halt its military operation in Gaza.
