Drone strike kills two 'Qaeda militants' in Yemen
Tunisia and Libya have agreed to delay recognition of the Syrian opposition coalition as the sole legitimate representative of the Syrian people.
This was stated by Tunisian President Moncef al-Marzouki, after meeting with the head of the General National Congress of Libya, Mohammed al-Makrif.
Al-Marzouki spoke of the need to obtain actual information "on representation within the body”.
On Wednesday, the head of Syria's "Democratic Union Party", which controls most of the regions of Syria populated by Kurds, declared the national coalition was "an agent of Turkey and Qatar”.
The coalition was formed on November 11th in the capital of Qatar. Its goal is unification of isolated Syrian factions fighting to overthrow the regime of Bashar al-Assad.
