IAEA looks to agreement with Iran in January

The IAEA hopes that it may reach an agreement with Iran as early as next month.

This is reported by the France Presse news agency with reference to the IAEA Deputy Director Herman Nackaerts.

According to him, the parties to the talks have agreed to hold a meeting on January 16th, when they hope they will be able to decide on common approaches to thrashing out the differences and to subsequently starting to implement the agreements.

On Thursday Tehran saw another round of talks between Iranian and IAEA officials. The IAEA inspectors are pressing for access to Iran’s Parchin military facility, which, they suspect, has been a nuclear test site.

Three more suspects arrested in Woolwich soldier killing - UK police

The number of suspects arrested by British counter-terrorism police over the killing of a soldier in London has risen to seven. Police have made three more arrests in the brutal killing of British soldier Lee Rigby, Metropolitan Police said. The men, in their 20s, were arrested Saturday evening and are being held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, police said.
