According to the reporters, their car was stopped and they were ordered out.
The soldiers accused them of working for the Israeli non-commercial organization Betselem, ordered them to get out of the car and to get undressed, sprayed tear gas, took the reporters’ gas masks and their camera from the vehicle, and left.
The Israeli Defence Ministry has promised to investigate the occurrence, but no explanations have since followed.
