In comments, carried by Moscow-based Komsomolskaya Pravda daily, President Viktor Yanukovich said experts from both sides were already at work to make it happen. He added, however, that the legal norms the Customs Union is governed by should not be at variance with Ukraine’s international commitments.
The Ukrainian leader also said he expected an association deal with the EU to be signed later this year.
