Two further people arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to Woodwich murder
According to preliminary reports, the group has been active in the United Arab Emirates and has been closely involved with the Muslim Brotherhood association in Egypt, which the incumbent Egypt’s President Mohamed Mursi is a representative of.
Police kept a watchful eye on the group activities for several years.
According to special services, the group recruited Egyptians who made their home in the Emirates, raised and channelled funds to Egypt to fincnace the Muslim Brotherhood there.
The investigators feel the group members were instructed by the Egypt-based Muslim Brotherhood on ways to overthrow Arab regimes.
