Lior Asulin was detained during a time-out at a game between Hapoel Ironi Rishon LeZion and the Nazareth Soccer Club.
Police officers ignored the club’s managers who vowed to repay Asulin’s debts after the match is over, saying they were acting on a warrant.
As a result, Ironi lost its striker and couldn’t get a single goal through. The matchup ended in a 0:0 tie.
