On Thursday, an investigative judge arraigned Mr. Polonsky, who was detained last December in the town of Sihanoukville together with his friends, Konstantin Baglai and Alexander Karachinsky.
According to the source, the Russian mogul proved to be cooperative, which may convince the judge to release him from jail.

The Russian foreign ministry has said it is ready to provide Russian property businessman Sergei Polonsky, who is being held in a Cambodian prison, with medical help, a source in the ministry said.

Polonsky trial in Cambodia postponed by 1 week
The inquiry into the case of Russian businessman Sergei Polonsky and his two friends, arrested in Cambodia, is delayed by at least one week, said the Russians’ Cambodian lawyer, Long Salux.
According to him, the next interrogation is due on February 7th, provided they find a new interpreter, since the Russians said the previous one lacked proper translation skills. Polonsky was arrested and jailed a month ago on charges of using physical violence with regard to local seamen.
Later, the believed victims withdrew their petitions to sue in exchange for apologies and compensations. Still, under the local law, the criminal case cannot be automatically closed.
