That’s the opinion of experts of the Dubai-based Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis, one of the organizers of the IDEX-2013 Defense Exhibition and Conference under way in Abu Dhabi.
The Russian defense industry holds good market positions in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asian markets, the think-tank said in an analytical report that reached ITAR-TASS.
According to the report, this year Russia's arms exports may exceed the 2012 levels by at least $15 billion in new contracts.
