The targets such as a “pregnant woman”, an “old man”, a “young mother”, a “little boy” and so on are intended to help police officers who are faced with these highly unusual threats for the first time to shoot without hesitation. Human rights activists have been outraged at the idea.
Product descriptions on the shooting targets sold at Law Enforcement Targets, Inc., confirm they are intended to condition police and armed agents to fire on people without hesitation, writer and editor Paul Joseph Watson first reported at Jones' website, Infowars.com.
The company supplies “training targets and supplies for military branches, government agencies, law enforcement agencies, training organizations, private ranges, gun clubs, and shooting enthusiasts in the United States,” according to a description on Bloomberg.
Law Enforcement Targets, Inc. also sells zombie targets, yet another way to dehumanize people. Following the release of the Infowars.com story, attempts to access the company’s website were met with error messages that the server is too busy.
The products alone can raise red flags and sound alarms, but there’s much more behind it.
For example, the Department of Homeland Security’s See Something, Say Something program depicts white Americans as suspicious and potential terrorists that need to be reported to “the authorities.”
After facing criticism that the DHS purchase of 1.6 billion in bullets was inflated, Infowars revisited the figures and is now reporting the government has ordered 2 billion bullets. The government says the bullets are need for training purposes. But the sheer volume of bullets represents enough ammunition for a 24-year-long war with Iraq.
All of it points to a government preparing for widespread civil unrest.
