Four games between Viswanathan Anand and Boris Gelfand who are fighting for the chess crown in Moscow have ended in a draw. Another eight parties with classical time control are ahead. In case of a draw, another four games with shortened time control will be arranged, and then – a blitz of up to ten games.

The title of best chess player in the world is at stake in a tournament between current World Champion Viswanathan Anand of India and Boris Gelfand of Israel, the winner of the Candidates tournament. The first game, where the Indian player started on white, finished in a draw.

Some 10,000 volunteers are getting prepared for the 2013 Universiade which will be hosted by Kazan, the capital of Russia’s Republic of Tatarstan, in July. Some 12,000 university athletes from 170 countries will take part in this International multi-sport event. The Games will be attended by 100,000 tourists and fans.
