Russia: People and Events is a series of programs about life in Russia and Russians. We are telling you about tsars, politicians and military commanders, cultural and scientific celebrities, in a word, about people who glorified Russia as best they could. Some of them represent a whole era in the life of this country, some are less known personalities, but all of them occupy an equally important place in the history of Russia.
