Olga’s radio features were listed among top ten programs according to Passport to World Band Radio and received a number of awards.

Olga’s motto is “My programs are about good music of all genres”.

Among her radio features are “Music and Musicians”, “Russia: 1000 years of music”, “Folk Box” and “Russian Hits”.

Olga’s colleagues often say “Olga can find anything in her musical treasure trove”.  Her collection, indeed, features the best, unique and rare music.

Olga Fyodorova was born in Moscow in 1947. During her eventful and successful career she passed all the stages of musical education, from music school to conservatory.

Olga Fyodorova worked as a conductor for the Leningrad (St.Petersburg) Court Capella and was the founder of the Moscow Philharmonic Society’s press service.

She started to work for The Voice of Russia (then Radio Moscow) in 1976, as editor. Over the years, she has advanced to the post of radio observer. She is currently running a number of the Voice of Russia’s high-profile programs, including MUSIC AND MUSICIANS, MUSICAL TALES and MUSIC CALENDAR.

Olga Fyodorova has interviewed nearly all of Russia’s celebrity musicians, including M.Rostropovich, Y.Svetlanov, V.Gergiev, Y.Temirkanov, R.Shchedrin, V.Spivakov, Y.Bashmet, D.Bashkirov, E.Virsaladze, N.Gutman, G.Vishnevskaya, I.Arkhipova, Y.Nesterenko, V.Atlantov, Y.Obraztsova, D.Matsuyev, A.Gindin, Y.Mechetina and B.Andrianov.

Olga Fyodorova writes a lot for newspapers and magazines and teaches History of Music and History of Music Theatre at the Boris Shchukin Institute of Theatrical Arts.
