Climate Change is, as the name implies, about changes in the climate. This programme, however, also covers pollution and environmental problems which are either contributing to climate change, or are the result of such changes. In Russia, concern for the environment is now becoming a major political and economic issue, and the Climate Change programme consequently focuses on groups and individuals who are making a stand and trying to influence the way people think about the environment or actually doing something about eradicating negative effects of pollution.
