Luxembourg Embassy throws charity bash for woman with rare leukemia

The Embassy has invited expats and Muscovites on a Roman Holiday to have fun and help a woman who is seriously ill.

Her last hope is a bone marrow transplant – a very expensive procedure. Moreover, its success rates in Russia are too low, so Lena needs to go to the US or Israel, which would cost €2,800.

For over a year, Lena’s friends and colleagues have been doing their best to gather the money. The Luxembourg Embassy has also decided to help Lena.

For more information, visit the charity’s site.
